ENTRYZERO is delighted with the coverage by the Westfalenpost, which offered a behind the scenes look and introduced our mission.

The story of our company is told with the opening words, “I became a burglar” from its founding by Samet Gökbayrak and Dr. Mohamad Sbeiti to our daily work in the fight against cyberattacks.

Ethical Hacking Meets Artificial Intelligence

The Westfalenpost vividly describes how our international team of cybersecurity experts works as so-called “ethical hackers”. We analyze companies attack surfaces from the perspective of potential attackers, identify vulnerabilities, and help close them before they can be exploited by cybercriminals. We place a special focus on our technology: Using artificial intelligence, our platform continuously monitors our clients external attack surfaces, prioritizes risks, and provides an up-to-date overview of the threat landscape. In this way, we help companies make informed decisions and improve their security measures in a targeted manner.

Always One Step Ahead

Cyberattacks are evolving every day. New attack techniques, tools, and vulnerabilities are emerging at a rapid pace. That is precisely why we take a proactive approach: Our goal is to identify risks early on and help companies close their security gaps before attackers discover them. As described in the article, large organizations in particular often have complex IT landscapes with numerous locations, subsidiaries, and systems. This frequently creates undetected attack surfaces that must be continuously monitored.

A Successful First Year

The newspaper article also looks back on ENTRYZEROs development since its founding. Already in our first year, we were able to attract well-known corporate clients and received several awards for our work.

Our milestones to date include, among others…

  • Recognition as one of the best spin-offs from Ruhr University Bochum.
  • Selection as one of the top 12 cybersecurity spin-offs at the international technology fair VivaTech in Paris.
  • Presentation of our technology to international decision-makers and representatives from the business and political sectors.

Notes

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Westfalenpost for visiting our offices at the Ruhr University Bochum Technology Center and for its in-depth coverage of ENTRYZERO.
